Getting Attention the Jim Kukral Way

Thursday September 9, 2010

Jim KukralIf you're thinking about using online marketing tools to build your business - and aren't sure if they'll work for you - you need to talk with Jim Kukral. Jim is the author of the new book: "Attention! This Book Will Make You Money", and he recently took a few minutes to respond to a Q&A.

Here's an excerpt:

Bryan: What advice would you give to someone starting an online business?

Jim: Forget all the business plan stuff and just go do. MBA's won't like me telling you to do this, but the Web is built around doers, not thinkers and planners. I always say, "Doers get what they want, and everyone else gets what they get." This is not only true in life and business in general, but absolutely true in the online world. Every second you keep sitting back and waiting to take action is time you'll regret in the future. Go out there and use the tools that are available to you now to make something happen. The beauty is that those tools, most of them anyway, are completely free. The rest of them are dirt cheap. Costs are not an excuse. Go out there and try!

Thinking About Building a Email Newsletter?

Wednesday September 8, 2010

If you are running an online business, you should be building an opt-in email list. You can promote new products, new site content and blog updates. You can also promote affiliate links to your subscribers.

There are lots of reasons why you should have an opt-in list - but many businesses don't. For many it seems complicated, time consuming or expensive. And while it can be - it doesn't have to be. For my projects I use AWeber and they are the best I've found. It's made so easy to add sign-up boxes/forms to your site and to manage the content that gets emailed.

Try a 30 day trial for just $1 and just $19/month after. Visit AWeber site today and get started.
