How I Got Setup Blogging - And How It Helps My Business
I found Darren Rowse a few years back, and he was making it - without being all that great (at first). I thought - I can do that too. I immediately started blogging at multiple sites. Today I have 31 websites, about 12 of those are business blogs where I am focused on making money online with the site, or with other online projects - but the blog is about how I'm going about it.
Lessons Learned
- Forget about paperback publishers and publish digitally on Amazon, Smashwords, and other platforms
- Beginning writers should price their books low to start with - to gain a following in whatever niche they are focused on writing in
- There is no need to write books over 30,000 to 60,000 words - unless you think there is
- Get a professional graphics person to design your book covers
