We are a home care agency so we cover a variety of topics in terms of aging. Our blog also is in English and Spanish. My newest blog speaks about role reversal for elderly. The topic divulges into how parents now become dependent on their children for survival. We have also covered topics such as diabetes, staying healthy as you age, and fall risk prevention.
How I Got Setup Blogging - And How It Helps My Business
Well we set it up so our patients can go to our website and gather beneficial information about aging. We used word press to set-up our blog and we have gotten a couple patient phone calls about our company.
Lessons Learned
- I made the mistake of hiring a terrible website designer on more then one occasion. Another piece of advice I would give is that you must stay current and up to date on your blog. Make a plan of how often you will blog and stick with it. Consistency is the key to success
