How I Got Setup Blogging - And How It Helps My Business
I have been blogging since 2006. I have been on Twitter and Facebook but I find Facebook is better for personal connections. I send all my blog posts to Twitter and my Facebook page. I've found many connections through my blog and previous blogs.
Lessons Learned
- For me, blogging is an every day thing. I am always thinking about potential blog posts, and I try to work ahead so I can relax and not post on the weekends and holidays.
- I try to keep my blog interesting by incorporating real stories of people and real litigation cases. I have trouble keeping my blogs short, but I'm getting better at it. People won't read a long blog post, so I try to keep them under 500 words.
- I try to capture timely topics, even ones that don't seem relevant. Like holidays, breaking news, new laws or court rulings.
